THE DUKES OF HAZZARD RIDES AGAIN
YEEHAH - hold on to your hats and start whistling Dixie! The Dukes of Hazzard are getting back together for a new reunion movie.
On May 19, CBS will present "The Dukes of Hazzard: Hazzard in Hollywood," featuring Bo, Luke and Daisy Duke reuniting to raise money in Hollywood to construct a much-needed hospital back home in Hazzard County.
There will be plenty of those ol' familiar car chases and stunts along the way when the Dukes run into TinselTown gangsters and the Russian mafia, The ENQUIRER has learned.
John Schneider and Tom Wopat are back in their roles as Bo and Luke Duke. And you'll be happy to hear that curvy Catherine Bach will be joining in the fun as leggy Daisy Duke.
Rib-tickling James Best returns as Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane, Sonny Shroyer as Deputy Enos Strate, Ben Jones as Cooter and Rick Hurst as Deputy Cletus.
Sadly, Sorrell Booke - who played the scheming Boss Hogg - died in February 1994 and Denver Pyle, who portrayed Uncle Jesse, passed away on Christmas Day 1997.
"The Dukes are coming to Hollywood...just like the Beverly Hillbillies!" a set insider told The ENQUIRER. "There are plenty of car chases and one huge jump by the famous Dodge Charger - the General Lee - that will definitely thrill audiences. And, of course, the Dukes save the day, get the money for the hospital and live happily ever after!"
